Taiz:The Entisaf Organization for Women and Child Rights has condemned recent attacks on civilian areas and facilities in several Yemeni provinces, labeling them as blatant violations of international humanitarian and human rights laws.
According to Yemen News Agency, the organization criticized Saudi airstrikes, specifically the targeting of a passenger bus on the Sharjab-Al-Turbah road in Taiz Province. This incident resulted in the deaths of a young man and a woman, caused a pregnant woman to miscarry, and injured seven civilians.
Additionally, the statement condemned an airstrike on a fuel station in Haran, Dhamar Province, which resulted in one civilian death and three injuries. It also highlighted a series of strikes on telecommunications networks and civilian areas in Raymah, Ibb, Sana'a, Hodeidah, Sa'ada, and Al-Bayda provinces.
The organization emphasized that attacks on roads, civilian transport, and infrastructure reflect a dangerous pattern of violations, exacerbating the humanitarian suffering of civilians, particularly women and children. Entisaf called for serious, independent investigations into these incidents, accountability for those responsible, and steps to prevent further impunity.
The group also urged the international community, including the United Nations and human rights organizations, to uphold their responsibilities to protect civilians and ensure adherence to international law.
