The strikes, which have impacted the Najran region and Marib city, resulted in casualties and targeted civilian infrastructure. The EU expressed unwavering solidarity with both Saudi Arabia and the Yemeni government, extending condolences to the families affected by the violence. It emphasized that the targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure is unacceptable and must come to an immediate halt.
According to European Union, the recent attacks by the Houthis represent a dangerous escalation that threatens regional stability and could jeopardize ongoing efforts to achieve a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
