Al-hodeida: The residents of Deir Al-Jabaliyah in Al-Raqaba area, Al-Marawiah District, Al-Hodeida Governorate, organized a cultural evening in celebration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday under the slogan, 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by the District Security Director, Colonel Faid Al-Muwanas, and the Educational Sector Official, Mohammed Bahloul. Sheikh Ali Zanem of the area highlighted the importance of reflecting the meaning of this celebration by recognizing Allah's blessings and mercy, manifested in the Prophet's mission. He described such festive practices as a reflection of divine grace and a way to nurture love for the Prophet in people's hearts.
He further emphasized that the Yemeni people's celebration of this distinguished occasion reflects the spirit of solidarity and the faith-based identity that characterizes Yemeni society. The increasing manifestations of the Prophet's birthday celebrations convey messages of resilience and steadfastness, demonstrating a deep connection to the Holy Quran and the Messenger of Allah, especially in the face of attempts to distort and undermine the nation's identity.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Jabli, Director of the District Health Office, noted that this great occasion had been absent for decades, were it not for the Quranic project that revived its significance in the hearts of Yemenis. This initiative greatly contributed to restoring awareness of the value of this blessed event.
He affirmed that the Yemeni people learned from the best of creation, Prophet Muhammad, that a nation gains no dignity without defending the oppressed, and a divine message holds no sanctity without safeguarding human freedom.
