Sana'a: A commemorative event marking the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) birthday was held on Thursday in Sana'a, organized by the Modern Specialized College for Medical and Technical Sciences.
According to Yemen News Agency, Tariq Al-Marani, Head of the Human Resources Unit at the Executive Body for Community Colleges, highlighted the significance of celebrating the Prophet's birthday as a way to recall his noble biography, the values and principles he brought to the nation, reflecting them in our daily lives and contributing to the strengthening of our faith-based identity.
He emphasized that the Prophet's birthday is an occasion that unites hearts in love and enlightens the mind with guidance. He stressed the importance of translating this celebration into practical behavior in our daily lives and turning it into an educational, cultural, enlightening, and charitable season filled with activities that foster loyalty and love for God and His Messenger.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mujahid Al-Jabr, Dean of the College, noted that celebrating the Prophet's birthday is a renewal of the commitment to the values of tolerance, determination, striving, patience, love, moderation, and the pursuit of knowledge brought by the Prophet. He highlighted the crucial role of educational institutions in instilling these values in young generations and contributing to building a conscious generation that carries the message of knowledge and learning.
Dr. Afnan Sharafuddin, speaking on behalf of the faculty members, expressed pride and honor in participating in this great occasion, which inspires a sense of dignity and sincere belonging, based on following and drawing guidance from the Prophet's noble biography and the values he conveyed to lead humanity from ignorance and misguidance to enlightenment.
