Al-mahwit city: The Security Administration of Al-Mahwit City District organized a speech evening today to commemorate the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (may the best prayers and purest peace be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, Colonel Shihab Amer, the Director of Moral Guidance at the Governorate Security Administration, highlighted the significance of celebrating this revered religious occasion. He urged attendees to draw lessons from the life of the Greatest Messenger Muhammad (PBUH) and to reinforce prophetic values, principles, and a faith-based identity within the community.
Colonel Amer noted that the celebration of the Mawlid signifies the profound connection the Yemeni people have with the Messenger of God (PBUH). He emphasized their determination to emulate his morals and stances when confronting challenges, while also promoting the values of cooperation, solidarity, and charity among the community.
He further stressed the necessity of ongoing coordination and community involvement, advocating for the completion of celebratory displays through the decoration of neighborhoods, buildings, and squares. Colonel Amer called for increased participation in the central Mawlid al-Nabawi event to reflect the significance of the occasion in the hearts of the district's residents.
The evening, which saw the presence of directors of executive offices and social figures, featured expressive chanting and poetic segments, adding to the spirit of the commemoration.
