Evenings in Dhamar City Mark Prophet’s Birthday Anniversary

Dhamar: Cultural evenings were held in Dhamar City as part of the preparatory activities marking the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.

According to Yemen News Agency, the events featured cultural and nasheed performances across various neighborhoods, including Al-Manzil, Martyr Zaid Musleh, Imam Zaid, Bir Khabout, Tahseen Azan, Al-Islahiyah, Al-Jarajish, Al-Mahal Al-Asfal, Al-Sakaniyah Al-Sufla, Al-Sakaniyah Al-Ulya, and the districts of Al-Jilani, Al-Majd, Farah and Omar Al-Mukhtar, Al-Warqi, Fajir Badash, Al-Shamsiyah, Souq Al-Rubou, the Cultural Center, Al-Akhdar, Al-Salahi, Al-Kahraba, Al-Zahra, Al-Hurriyah, Suwad Haran, and Al-Somoud.

The events were organized by the district's media sector, the security administration, the mobilization division in the central sector, and several executive offices in celebration of the occasion.

During his participation in a number of the evenings, Governor Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti stressed the importance of instilling love for the Prophet, his noble character, and virtues in the hearts of the younger generations, raising them on Quranic culture and the Muhammadan approach.

He noted that the people of Yemen have commemorated the Prophet's birthday for centuries, considering it a time to reflect on the high morals and values established by the Messenger-peace and blessings be upon him and his family-and on the principles and foundations of his message.

The governor also highlighted the need to raise awareness and confront the schemes of the enemies of the Ummah aimed at detaching it from its faith and Prophet, while strengthening faith identity and Quranic culture. He praised the public's strong engagement in the events marking the Prophet's birthday and in supporting Gaza.

Through speeches and poetry, participants expressed the significance of this great occasion as a spiritual and educational station for drawing lessons and inspiration from the life of Prophet Muhammad-peace and blessings be upon him, his family-and following his righteous path.

They viewed the celebration of the Prophet's birth as an expression of reverence, honor, and support for him, as well as a reflection of the Yemeni people's deep connection to the Messenger and to his message, which brought humanity from the darkness of ignorance to the light of guidance and truth.

The participants stressed the importance of embodying the Prophet's morals and values, adhering to his path, holding firmly to the Book of Allah, applying its teachings, and avoiding its prohibitions-considering this the key to victory over enemies.
