Evenings in Maeen District Celebrate Prophet Muhammad’s Birth Anniversary with Cultural and Oratory Events

Sanaa: The people of Maeen District in the Capital Secretariat organized cultural and oratory evenings on Wednesday to celebrate the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family. Member of the Shura Council, Khalid Al-Siyaghi, participated in the celebratory evening held in Al-Shukani Al-Sharqi neighborhood in Al-Da'iri and Al-Zira'a areas. The event included a number of cultural, musical, and poetic segments expressing love and reverence for the noble Prophet.

According to Yemen News Agency, at the evening in Al-Matrhiyah neighborhood in Madhbah, Dr. Mohammed Al-Junaid, Director of the Finance Office of the Capital Secretariat, emphasized that commemorating this great occasion reflects the deep connection of the Yemeni people with the Prophet and their commitment to his righteous path, reinforcing their authentic faith-based identity. He pointed out that these evenings and popular celebrations reflect the joy of welcoming the Prophet's birth anniversary, honoring and revering the Seal of the Prophets, following his example, and renewing loyalty to the noble Prophet, may the best blessings and complete peace be upon him and his family.

Al-Junaid called on everyone to actively participate and attend the events and celebrations, leading up to the grand celebration of the Prophet's birth on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal. Meanwhile, two evenings were held in Hadair Al-Aqab neighborhood in Asr and Al-Taysir Al-Gharbi neighborhood in Al-Qubba, featuring numerous speeches, cultural and oratory segments, and diverse poetic presentations highlighting the significance of the occasion in the hearts of Yemenis and their celebration of the Prophet's birth.

Participants in the evenings stressed the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birth to renew the commitment to following his path, adhering to his teachings, and drawing inspiration from the values of sacrifice, struggle, and patience to uphold the dignity and honor of the nation.
