Sana'a: Shu'ub district in the Capital Sana'a on Thursday hosted a series of evening events marking the Prophet's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the celebrations, organized by local schools and neighborhood residents in Sa'awan, al-Nasr, al-Jiraf, and other areas, were attended by Shura Council member Ahmed al-Sharabi, Deputy Mayor Khaled al-Madani, and other officials, scholars, and community figures.
Speeches highlighted the importance of honoring the Prophet's birth as a central Islamic value, recalling the universal guidance of his message. The evenings featured cultural, poetic, and traditional performances reflecting Yemenis' devotion to the occasion, with events continuing until the central celebration on Rabi' al-Awwal 12.
