Event at Faculty of Clinical Pharmacy, University of September 21, Marking Prophet’s Birthday

Sanaa: The Faculty of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of September 21 for Medical and Applied Sciences, in cooperation with the University Student Forum, organized on Saturday a commemorative event marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).

According to Yemen News Agency, University President Dr. Mujahid Massar highlighted the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday across faculties as an expression of love, reverence, and veneration for the Messenger of Allah, and as a way to embody the strong bond with his noble path and blessed biography.

He stressed that the birth of the Prophet was a glad tiding that rescued the nation from misguidance, ignorance, backwardness, and confusion, as he led humanity from darkness and idol worship to the light of faith, knowledge, and devotion to God. Dr. Massar considered the commemoration an expression of joy, reverence, and exaltation of the Prophet, in response to verses of the Holy Qur'an.

For his part, Dean of the Faculty of Clinical Pharmacy, Dr. Ali Al-Yahwi, noted that Yemenis have always remained loyal to the Messenger of Allah, celebrating his birth in an atmosphere filled with faith, love, and devotion. He described the occasion as an educational milestone to strengthen faith identity and instill values of sacrifice and selflessness, pointing out that the college's celebration reflects the university's commitment to holding events that deepen connection to the Prophet, following his example, and walking in his footsteps.

The program also included a speech by the University Student Forum, along with poetry recitations and chants highlighting the Prophet's life, virtues, noble qualities, and principles, as well as the importance of celebrating this occasion to reinforce loyalty, devotion, and love for him in people's hearts.
