Sanaa: First-level students at the Higher Academy of the Quran and its Sciences, at the main center, organized a speech event titled 'The Greatest Mercy' in celebration of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) birthday. The event was attended by the Dean of the Higher Academy of the Quran, Yahya Sharaf al-Din, and the Secretary-General of the academy.
According to Yemen News Agency, in his speech, student Muhammad al-Sayyid emphasized the importance of raising awareness and making the occasion a comprehensive educational, cultural, enlightening, and charitable season. He highlighted the need for intensive activities that strengthen insight, awareness, and guidance for the nation and future generations. Al-Sayyid also warned against the plans and soft wars of forces of disbelief, tyranny, and their allies who seek to sever the nation from its symbols and role models.
In addition, he underscored the ongoing suffering of the Palestinian people at the hands of the Zionist entity, mentioning horrific crimes, starvation, water deprivation, and destruction of life essentials. Al-Sayyid praised the honorable stances of Yemenis in supporting the oppressed in Gaza.
Furthermore, Al-Sayyid urged his fellow students to view their academic stage as a turning point in their professional lives. He encouraged them to seize this opportunity for learning and excellence, and to contribute to building the nation and defending it from the ambitions of invaders.
