Event by Executive Offices in Capital on Annual Martyrs’ Commemoration

Sana’a: The offices of Youth and Sports, Civil Service, Culture, Tourism, and Literacy in the Capital held a cultural event commemorating the annual anniversary of the martyrs under the slogan: ‘In Loyalty to Martyrs’ Blood Mobilization Continues and Readiness is High.’



According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, Deputy Secretary of the Capital, Abdul Latif Al-Omari, emphasized the importance of commemorating this anniversary to draw lessons from the great sacrifices made by the martyrs, who gave their most precious possessions for the sake of God, the nation, and the support of the oppressed. He also stressed the significance of strengthening resilience, maintaining internal cohesion, and taking serious, responsible action across various paths and sectors to confront the enemy and any potential escalation.



The event was attended by Assistant Secretary Abdullah Al-Hajri, Head of the Tourism Sector in the Capital Ibrahim Al-Wazir, and several leaders of the executive offices. During the event, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the Capital, Abdullah Obeid, highlighted the martyrs’ sacrifices in confronting and resisting the forces of global arrogance and tyranny in pursuit of the nation’s dignity, independence, and freedom. He noted that without the martyrs’ sacrifices, Yemen would not enjoy security and stability, stressing the importance of following in the footsteps of these great martyrs.
