Event by Security Administration of Al-Bayda Commemorating Yawm al-Wilayah

Al-bayda: The Security Administration of Al-Bayda province organized today an oratorical event commemorating Yawm al-Wilayah (Day of Guardianship) under the slogan "Whoever I am his master (mawla), then this Ali is his master."

According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor of the province, Saleh Al-Joufi, emphasized the importance of commemorating this anniversary to consolidate faith-based loyalty and recall the virtues of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), as the true extension of the message of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family). He highlighted the significance of this event in rooting the values of loyalty according to correct Quranic concepts, underscoring the greatness of the message brought by the Honorable Messenger when he raised the hand of Imam Ali and declared: "Whoever I am his master (mawla), then this Ali is his master."

Deputy Governor Al-Joufi also stated that the principle of guardianship (wilayah) serves as a safety valve for protecting the nation against infiltrations and deviations. This principle has enabled the Yemeni people to achieve victory, dignity, and empowerment in their struggle against the American and Zionist adversaries, while supporting the nation's causes against tyrants.

Captain Hussein Al-Junaid, Deputy Director of the Moral Guidance and Relations Department, affirmed that commemorating this anniversary enhances religious awareness and consolidates the moral and human values embodied by Imam Ali. He explained that Imam Ali presented a unique model of leadership, wisdom, justice, and support for the oppressed, emphasizing the importance of recalling his life and drawing lessons from it in light of the challenges facing the nation.

The event was attended by notable figures including the Director of Investigation of the Provincial Security, Colonel Mohammed Al-Khatib, and the Commander of the Provincial Rescue Forces, Colonel Essam Al-Ghaili. It featured a poem by the Director of Security of Al-Bayda city, Colonel Abdulghani Al-Askari.
