Al-Masawi, Al-Mansour Address Urban Planning Challenges in Taiz

Taiz: A meeting held in the Taiz province, featuring Acting Governor Ahmed Al-Masawi and the Head of the General Authority for Lands, Judge Ibrahim Al-Mansour, focused on the current state of urban planning within the province.

According to Yemen News Agency, the gathering also included key figures such as Judge Fawaz Al-Maqtari, Head of the Court of Appeal in the province, Deputy Head of the Land Authority Daji Mohammed, and Abdulghani Al-Hamdani, Director of the Authority's branch in Taiz. The discussions centered around the working mechanism of a project aimed at planning areas subject to settlements and the announcement of nine new neighborhood units.

The meeting participants evaluated the stages of urban planning implementation and discussed strategies to open main and secondary streets. This is intended to protect the master plan and prevent unplanned construction. There was a unanimous agreement on the importance of guiding citizens towards property registration, with plans to intensify awareness campaigns to highlight the significance of this step for preserving rights and securing ownership.

Challenges facing the workflow at the authority's branch in Taiz were also addressed. The necessity for unified efforts between the local authority and the head of the authority was emphasized to overcome these obstacles and improve the performance and efficiency of the branch both administratively and in the field.

Judge Al-Mansour provided insight into the work of the Settlement Committee in the province and the measures they have implemented. He commended the committee members for their diligent and accelerated efforts in fulfilling their responsibilities and for hastening the progress of their work.

The meeting also saw the participation of Ziyad Abu Al-Rijal, Assistant Deputy of the Authority for the Land Sector.
