Sana'a: An event was held at the Martyr of the Quran Secondary School for Religious Sciences in the western sector of Sana'a Governorate on Monday to commemorate the anniversary of Imam Zaid's martyrdom for the year 1448 AH. During this event, the significance of Imam Zaid's legacy was discussed and honored.
According to Yemen News Agency, district guidance official Mohammed Al-Qasimi spoke at the event, emphasizing the importance of this commemoration as a chance to draw inspiration from the values of revolution, freedom, steadfastness, and sacrifice in the struggle against tyrants and oppressors. He urged attendees to follow Imam Zaid's path, a figure renowned for his revolutionary spirit, and to dedicate themselves to the cause of God while acknowledging their responsibilities toward religion and the nation.
Additionally, Al-Qasimi addressed what he described as the disappointing positions of Arab and Muslim leaders concerning the ongoing events in Gaza and Lebanon. He condemned what he termed as acts of genocide against civilians, including children, women, and the elderly. Al-Qasimi stressed the need to recall Imam Zaid's legacy in supporting justice, promoting virtue, preventing wrongdoing, and confronting the arrogant, particularly naming the United States and Israel.
