Event Held in Ka’ida to Mark Prophet’s Birthday

Hajjah: Residents of Ka'ida District in Hajjah Governorate held a speech event on Thursday to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.

According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Abdulrahman Al-Jamaei emphasized the importance of commemorating this religious occasion to strengthen the connection of Yemenis with the Prophet of Mercy and deepen their appreciation of Islam. He noted that the commemoration comes as the Yemeni people continue their struggle against aggression and siege, drawing inspiration from the Prophet's example while demonstrating resilience, dignity, and steadfastness.

Al-Jamaei stressed the importance of honoring the Prophet of guidance, who brought humanity from the darkness of ignorance to the light of guidance and true faith. This is particularly significant amid challenges targeting Islamic values, principles, and sanctities. He also called for strengthening resilience, mobilization, and participation in the central events scheduled in the governorate on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal, in a manner that reinforces the Yemeni people's faith-based identity.

The event was attended by Hajjah Governor Hilal Al-Soufi, Deputy Governor Abdulkarim Al-Khamousi, and local council member Yahya Musa. Chairman of the Al-Thawra Hospital Authority in Hodeidah, Dr. Khaled Suhail, and Ka'ida District Director Kamal Al-Soufi underscored the importance of broad participation in the governorate's events scheduled for 12 Rabi' al-Awwal to mark the Prophet's birthday.

They highlighted the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birth, recalling aspects of his life, and stressing the importance of using the occasion to strengthen allegiance to the Prophet, follow his teachings, and emulate his example for the betterment of life and success in the hereafter.
