Al-bayda: The Local Water and Sanitation Corporation, along with the branches of the General Authority for Water Resources and the General Authority for Lands in Radaa, Al-Bayda Governorate, organized a speech event on Monday to commemorate Wilayah Day.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by several notable figures, including Governorate Undersecretary Ahmed Al-Sayqal, Deputy Mobilization Official Abdulrahman Al-Habsi, Director of the Water Resources Authority branch Mohammed Al-Mansouri, and Deputy Director of the Yemen Petroleum Company Abdulhamid Al-Hassani. During the event, Deputy Director of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation Ashraf Al-Sharif emphasized the significance of commemorating Wilayah Day. He highlighted the importance of drawing lessons from the life of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib and embodying his values and principles in practical life.
Al-Sharif noted that marking the occasion reflects a commitment to a faith-based identity and follows the example of Islamic figures who embodied justice, wisdom, courage, and dedication to the nation. Mahmoud Al-Ezzani, Director of the General Authority for Lands branch in Radaa, further described Wilayah Day as an opportunity to draw inspiration from the values of sincere leadership, responsibility, and integrity demonstrated by Imam Ali throughout his life.
Al-Ezzani affirmed that commemorating the occasion strengthens faith-based identity, reinforces loyalty to Allah and His Messenger, and motivates continued efforts toward development and community service. Radaa Guidance Official Jabr Jobah explained that Wilayah Day is a significant faith-based occasion for recalling the values and principles established by Imam Ali. He noted that Yemenis express their connection to the concept of Wilayah and their commitment to following the example of great Islamic figures by observing this occasion.
