Event Highlights Palestinian Cause at Sana’a Correctional Facility on International Quds Day

Sana'a: The Central Correctional Facility in Sana'a Governorate organized a speech event on International Quds Day, under the slogan "Jerusalem is the Compass of the Free and Jihad is the Path to Victory." In the event, the Director of the Correctional Facility in the governorate, Captain Asaad Al-Bakri, emphasized the enduring significance of Palestine and Holy Jerusalem for the entire nation, highlighting the need for continued support in response to the aggression faced by the Palestinian people and the Noble Al-Aqsa.

According to Yemen News Agency, Captain Al-Bakri underscored the importance of International Quds Day as an annual occasion to reaffirm the stance towards the Palestinian cause, emphasizing Jerusalem's place in the conscience of the Arab and Islamic nation, and rejecting efforts to erase its identity or undermine its cause. Cultural activist Abdulrahman Al-Marouni spoke on the day's significance as a rallying point against the threat posed by the Jews, pointing out the crimes committed by Zionist Jews against Palestinians in the occupied territories.

Inmate speeches during the event highlighted International Quds Day as a symbol of humanitarian and moral support for the Palestinian struggle against Zionist occupation, demonstrating widespread solidarity with their just cause. The speeches stressed the need for ongoing community awareness about supporting the Palestinian cause as a central national issue.

The event, attended by the Deputy Director of the Correctional Facility, Captain Ayman Dhab'an, along with several officers and personnel, featured an operetta by the inmates and poems commemorating the occasion. Participants noted the importance of such cultural and awareness events in enhancing religious and national consciousness and fostering values of steadfastness and resilience.
