As-safiyah: The General Mobilization in As-Safiyah district of the Capital Secretariat organized a preparatory event today to commemorate the anniversary of Yawm al-Wilayah (Ghadir Day) under the slogan "Whoever I am his master (mawla), then this Ali is his master."

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by the mobilization official of the district, Abdullah Al-Ma'afa. Cultural activist Abdulrahman Al-Manari explained that guardianship (wilayah) is a primary reason for victory, success, and prosperity in this life and the hereafter. He emphasized that the Yemeni people's celebration of Yawm al-Wilayah, generation after generation, stems from the authenticity and faith-based identity of the Yemeni people and their close connection to Imam Ali (peace be upon him) since their embrace of Islam.

Al-Manari affirmed the importance of the relationship with wilayah being one of comprehension, certainty, and correction of the nation's reality, and of submission to the Greatest Messenger (peace be upon him and his family), Imam Ali (peace be upon him), and the banners of guidance. He touched upon the role and stances of the Yemeni people in confronting the forces of global arrogance and the tyrants of the age, and in supporting the oppressed in Gaza and Palestine, embodying their adherence to the path of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in rejecting humiliation and injustice and supporting the oppressed.

The event featured oratorical segments and poems expressing the greatness and importance of the occasion.
