Amran: The residents of Dhi Bin District in Amran Governorate organized on Sunday a ceremonial event to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) birthday. The event was attended by Fouad Al-Ezzi, member of the Presidential Committee for Mobilization and Recruitment, and Saleh Al-Makhlous, Secretary-General of the Governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, Amran's Police Chief, Brigadier General Naif Abu Kharfasha, emphasized the significance of the occasion, reflecting the loyalty and devotion of the Yemeni people to God and His Messenger. He stressed the importance of sincerely returning to the Qur'an and adhering to it, as well as following the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).

Abu Kharfasha also addressed the ongoing suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza, highlighting the crimes of mass killing, starvation, and forced displacement amid global silence and the humiliating complicity of Arab and Islamic regimes, which have failed to act against the enemy threatening the nation. He pointed out that the great Yemeni people remain steadfast in their humanitarian and principled support for Gaza, regardless of the sacrifices and challenges, until victory is achieved. He called upon the people of Dhi Bin, and the governorate in general, to mobilize and maintain readiness to confront the Zionist entity, supported by the U.S.

The Police Chief urged all to attend the central celebration next Thursday, 12 Rabi' al-Awwal, to honor the Prophet's birthday. The event included the presence of the Dhi Bin District Director, Deputy Education Sector Head Saleh Al-Zafni, the district's local secretary, executive and educational leaders, social figures, and tribal sheikhs. It featured religious chants and expressive poetry celebrating the greatness of the occasion.
