Sana'a: The management of the Yemeni Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Trading Company (YADCO) held a special event today to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. The celebration featured speeches and cultural activities aimed at highlighting the significance of the occasion.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Muhammad Ali Al-Tihami, spoke about the importance of celebrating the Prophet's birthday. He reminded attendees of the profound message that the Prophet Muhammad brought to the world, emphasizing his qualities such as trustworthiness, honesty, courage, humility, and good manners. Dr. Al-Tihami described the commemoration as an affirmation of the love, appreciation, and reverence that the Yemeni people hold for the Prophet.
During his speech, Dr. Al-Tihami also addressed the ongoing situation in Gaza, condemning the acts of genocide by the Zionist entity. He praised Yemen's support for the Palestinian cause and the mujahedeen in Gaza, linking it to the deep connection Yemenis have with Islam and its teachings. He urged widespread participation in the upcoming central event on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal to further demonstrate Yemenis' commitment to the Prophet's values and principles.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Quhaithi also spoke at the event, emphasizing the occasion's role in glorifying Allah's rituals and the importance of adhering to the Sunnah of the Noble Messenger. He encouraged a return to the teachings and legacy of Muhammad, viewing the anniversary as a unifying event for Muslims, particularly Yemenis.
The event featured two poems by the child Jana Basbas and the poet Ayman Zidan, along with a chanting performance by the Wa'ad Allah band, all celebrating the significance of the Prophet Muhammad's birth anniversary.
