Event in Maghrib ‘Ans District Commemorates Yawm al-Wilayah

Maghrib 'ans: The residents of Maghrib 'Ans district in Dhamar province organized a central celebratory event today on the occasion of Yawm al-Wilayah (Day of Guardianship) under the slogan "Whoever I am his master (mawla), then this Ali is his master."

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by leaders from the province and the district. Cultural activist Najm al-Din Al-Hasmani emphasized in his speech that the guardianship (wilayah) of Imam Ali is an extension of the guardianship of the Greatest Messenger, which, in turn, extends from the guardianship of Almighty God.

Al-Hasmani highlighted the impact of the Yemeni people's return to the path of wilayah on Yemen's achievements in confronting global challenges and supporting allies in Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran. He stressed the importance of following the path of wilayah to God, His Messenger (peace be upon him and his family), and Imam Ali, noting that it protects the nation from deviation and allegiance to its adversaries.

He further emphasized that allegiance to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali (peace be upon him) should be a commitment that is reflected in behavior, morals, and actions. The event, which saw participation from executive, mobilization, security, educational, and health leaders, as well as members of the agricultural cooperative, sheikhs, and social figures, featured poetic chants and the traditional Bara'a dance.
