Sana'a: Educational events and cultural evenings were held in Kholan District, Sana'a province, to commemorate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
According to Yemen News Agency, five events and a special gathering took place across several schools, including Al-Shahid Al-Ghader and Al-Wahda in Bani Saleh. Participants included schools such as Al-Ittihad, Al-Madid, Al-Juraif, Al-Atfah, Al-Nasr, Al-Shahid Al-Samad, and Ali ibn Abi Talib, as well as schools in the neighborhoods of Al-Arqoub and Wadi Ramak. Additional schools participating were Al-Shaab, Al-Shaabein, Al-Haqel, Al-Bakrah, and Al-Miyasar in Bani Shaddad.
Speeches at the events, attended by the district director Ra'd Al-Jamali and other notable figures, emphasized the significance of the Prophet's birthday in the Muslim community. The occasion was portrayed as an educational and cultural milestone for drawing moral lessons and values.
Cultural evenings were also organized in various villages, focusing on aspects of the Prophet Muhammad's life. The speeches encouraged benefiting from the occasion by fostering cooperation, solidarity, and following the teachings of Muhammad in defending the nation and Islam.
Speakers also urged participation in the central event at Al-Sabeen Square in Sana'a, stressing that the occasion reflects deep love and loyalty to God and His Messenger.
