Sanaa: The local authority in Hadramawt province organized a speech event to commemorate the Prophet's birthday, attended by the governor of Al-Mahra, Al-Qatabi Al-Faraji, and several officials.

According to Yemen News Agency, Hadramawt Governor Lokman Baras emphasized that the celebration is a testament to the Yemeni people's deep affection for the Holy Prophet. He highlighted the occasion as an opportunity to learn from the Prophet's life and teachings and urged wide participation in the central event on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal. Governor Baras also connected the commemoration to the ongoing crimes of the Israeli occupation in Gaza and the silence of Arab regimes on the matter.

Meanwhile, Ammar Al-Hareb, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development, described the Prophet's Birthday as a celebration of divine grace for humanity. He called on all Yemenis to join in the central event, which he noted as a distinguishing feature of their culture compared to other nations.

The event was attended by numerous local and religious leaders and featured a hymn from the Hadrami heritage.
