Launch of Support Project for Ramadan Charitable Kitchens in Ma’in District, Capital Sanaa

Sanaa: The Deputy Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Yahya Al-Mahaqri, and the Assistant Undersecretary of the Secretariat, Sami Sharaf al-Din, launched a project to support Ramadan charitable kitchens in Ma'in District.

According to Yemen News Agency, the project, in cooperation with the mobilization in the district and in response to the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, is aimed at supporting community initiatives that contribute to alleviating the suffering of citizens and enhancing the values of social solidarity. The initiative includes the distribution of 200 bags of rice and flour to the Ramadan kitchens in the district.

Al-Mahaqri praised the role played by the leadership of Ma'in District, the mobilization, associations, and community initiatives in organizing and managing the charitable kitchens. He affirmed the leadership's keenness to support such initiatives that contribute to alleviating the living burdens on citizens.

He explained that this support comes within the framework of efforts to enhance humanitarian and community work during the month of Ramadan, pointing out that charitable kitchens represent an important model of solidarity and cooperation between state institutions and society, especially under the current circumstances.

For his part, Sharaf al-Din mentioned that charitable work during the month of Ramadan reflects the spirit of solidarity and compassion among community members, affirming the importance of concerted official and community efforts to support initiatives that serve citizens and meet their basic needs.

He appreciated this support, which enhances the efforts of those in charge of the charitable kitchens in Ma'in District. He explained that the mobilization and district leadership are working in coordination with various parties to ensure the continuation of these humanitarian initiatives and expand the scope of their services to include the largest number of needy families.

Meanwhile, the Director of the District, Abdulmalik Al-Radi, explained that the charitable kitchens in Ma'in continue to provide daily iftar meals to poor and needy families with support from official bodies and community and charitable initiatives, thereby enhancing the values of social solidarity.
