Hodeidah: The province of Ibb witnessed mass rallies on Friday at Al-Rasool Al-A'zam Square in the provincial center and various squares across the districts under the slogan 'With Iran and Lebanon, We Commemorate the Day of Al-Furqan,' marking the anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr and expressing solidarity with the Iranian people.
According to Yemen News Agency, the rallies in the central square of Ibb city were led by the governor of the province, Abdulwahid Salah, along with a number of members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council, deputy governors, the mobilization official, and large crowds of residents who gathered to express their steadfast stance toward the issues of the nation.
Participants in the rallies affirmed that their massive turnout reflects the firm position of the people of the province in supporting the causes of the Islamic nation and standing alongside the Iranian and Lebanese peoples in confronting what they described as US-Zionist aggression. They stressed that these positions stem from religious and moral responsibility toward the nation.
They explained that commemorating the anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr, known as the 'Day of Al-Furqan,' represents an important spiritual occasion to strengthen awareness and resilience and to draw lessons from this historic event, which marked a decisive turning point in Islamic history between truth and falsehood.
They noted that the large public gatherings reflect the level of popular awareness and the broad unity around the nation's critical issues, stressing that the people of Yemen will continue to be present in honorable positions defending the causes of truth and justice.
The participants renewed their affirmation of full readiness to confront all challenges, declaring that 'hands remain on the trigger' in facing the forces of aggression and arrogance, in response to the directives of the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
They considered the rallies a clear message that the Yemeni people stand united alongside the forces of resistance in the region and reject all forms of aggression and domination targeting the peoples and sovereignty of the nation. They emphasized that Ibb province will remain present in all arenas of dignity and pride, continuing on the path of steadfastness, resilience inspired by the meanings of sacrifice and struggle embodied in the Day of Al-Furqan.
Participants in the rallies chanted slogans condemning aggression and expressing solidarity with Iran and Lebanon, while rejecting policies of domination and arrogance. They also raised banners and flags reflecting the unity of the popular stance in support of the nation's causes.
During the rally, Ansar Allah Political Office member Deifullah Al-Shami said the massive crowds at Al-Rasool Al-A'zam Square and other district squares demonstrate the awareness of the province's residents and their strong connection to the issues of the nation, as well as their sincere support for the Iranian and Lebanese peoples in confronting global arrogance.
Al-Shami described the commemoration of the Great Battle of Badr, the 'Day of Al-Furqan,' as an important spiritual milestone that strengthens steadfastness and determination while drawing lessons from this historic occasion. He affirmed that the people of Ibb province will remain at the forefront in defending the nation's causes and continuing on the path of dignity and readiness to confront challenges.
He added that the mass rallies reflect the strong popular response to the directives of the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, demonstrate the spirit of faith and struggle among the people of the province in supporting the nation's causes.
Al-Shami also noted that commemorating the Day of Al-Furqan renews the commitment to the path of sacrifice and steadfastness in confronting the forces of aggression, adding that the large turnout confirms the high level of readiness among the people of Ibb to defend the homeland, the nation and to confront all plots targeting them.
A statement issued by the rallies affirmed Yemen's support for the Muslim Iranian people and announced comprehensive readiness to face any developments, while reiterating continued support for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, all free and oppressed people of the nation.
The statement congratulated the entire Islamic nation on the anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr, the 'Day of Al-Furqan,' describing it as an important moment in its history that reminds believers of the inevitable triumph of truth over falsehood, regardless of the disparity in material capabilities.
The statement noted that the Yemeni people's turnout today stems from Islamic, moral, and humanitarian duty, describing it as a path toward dignity, success, and salvation in this world and the hereafter, carried out in striving for the sake of Allah and seeking His satisfaction while raising the banner of Islam in the face of what it called the tyrants of the modern era.
The statement renewed the pledge to Allah Almighty, His Messenger, and the Leader of the Revolution to remain steadfast on the path of struggle in accordance with divine guidance, expressing confidence in God's promise of victory.
It also reaffirmed the Yemeni people's faith-based and principled stance in confronting what it described as the tyranny of the era represented by global Zionism, its allies, pledging continued preparation day and night across all fields to confront and defeat them.
The statement referred to remarks by the Leader of the Revolution in his speech yesterday, in which he affirmed full readiness and said that 'hands are on the trigger regarding any military escalation or action should developments require it,' describing the current situation as a battle for the entire nation against what he called the 'Greater Israel' project.
It further stressed that the Yemeni people consider themselves in an open confrontation with their enemies and affirmed support for the Iranian people, their Islamic system, their army, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, as well as for Hezbollah, saying they are fighting the battle of the nation on behalf of all.
The statement praised what it described as the significant strikes carried out against Israeli targets, U.S. bases in the region, and also commended the operations of the Iraqi resistance.
The rally statement called on Arab and Islamic regimes that have opened their territories to foreign forces to reconsider their positions and expel foreign bases from their lands, arguing that such bases have become a burden and a source of disgrace.
It also condemned attacks carried out by what it described as Zionist and American forces against civilian targets in some regional countries, warning against being drawn into the conflict under the banner of Israeli leaders such as Netanyahu and Ben-Gvir.
Finally, the statement called on the peoples of the Islamic nation to increase awareness of the risks facing the region and to take serious and effective action to confront them while placing their trust in Allah and remaining confident in His support for the righteous.
