Events & Gatherings in Hajjah Celebrate Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

Hajjah: Various districts in Hajjah Governorate, including Aslam, Aflah Al-Yaman, Al-Shahli, Al-Shaghadirah, Al-Jumaimah, Ka'Idinah, Al-Maghrabah, Kahlan Afar, Khayran Al-Muharraq, Qarah, and Wadhrah, held events and evening gatherings to celebrate the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's birth.

According to Yemen News Agency, the events were organized by numerous local bodies such as water projects in Aslam, the Primary Court and Higher Institute in Jiyah, Aflah Al-Yaman, as well as security branches in Ka'Idinah and Al-Maghrabah. The education and guidance sectors in Khayran Al-Muharraq and the health unit in Wadhrah also took part in the celebrations. Additionally, local communities organized popular evening gatherings, with residents of Al-Jumaimah arranging a meeting in the eastern and western districts of Baqrat.

Speakers at these events emphasized the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birth anniversary as a means to reinforce faith-based identity, Quranic culture, and to draw lessons from his life and teachings. They highlighted how the occasion serves to strengthen resilience and confront aggression. The celebration was portrayed as a reflection of enduring loyalty and love for the Prophet, reaffirming commitment to his path and the deep bond with him. The occasion was also seen as an opportunity to draw inspiration from his life in confronting oppression and supporting the oppressed and vulnerable.

The speeches focused on various aspects of the Prophet's character, virtues, courage, and struggle. Speakers noted that the descendants of the Ansar commemorate the occasion as an expression of their sincere loyalty to the Prophet, who described them as people of wisdom and faith with tender hearts. They also emphasized that their honorable positions stem from their attachment to Allah, the Quran, their adherence to the Prophet's approach, the path of Ahl al-Bayt, and the guides of righteousness.

The speakers concluded by urging broad participation in the central celebrations on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal to express love and reverence for the Prophet and to reaffirm their commitment to his path.
