Sana'a: Researcher Ahmed Mohammed Yahya Al-Yarimi was awarded an Executive Master's degree in Public Administration from Sana'a University with distinction for his thesis entitled "The Role of Administrative Leadership in Implementing Good Governance Principles at the Tax Authority."
According to Yemen News Agency, the examining committee, chaired by Professor Abdullah Al-Sanfi as the internal examiner, with Professor Abdulkhaliq Tawaf as the external examiner and Dr. Abdulwahab Al-Junaid as the supervisor, commended the thesis's content and findings. The committee emphasized the thesis's significance, noting that it presented a plan for developing the role of administrative leadership in implementing good governance principles at the Tax and Customs Authority in the Republic of Yemen, thereby enhancing the quality and efficiency of administrative and institutional performance.
The study concluded with a number of findings regarding the current state of administrative leadership practices and their dimensions in implementing good governance principles at the Tax Authority. It included a number of recommendations related to legislative and administrative mechanisms, oversight and regulatory bodies, human resources, and the practical application of the code of conduct and its integration into the daily behavior of leadership and employees.
The discussion was attended by the Undersecretary of the Tax and Customs Authority, Adnan Al-Ghafari, and a number of the Authority's directors general.
