Bayda: Executive offices in the Bayda governorate organized a significant event on Monday to mark al-Wilayah Day. The event saw participation from the Telecommunications Corporation, Postal Authority, Insurance Authority, Civil Service Office, Social Affairs Office, Executive Unit for Construction, and the Social Welfare Fund.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Abdullah Idris addressed the gathering, underscoring the importance of Wilayah as a demonstration of loyalty to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali. He highlighted that Yemen's accomplishments are rooted in the steadfast adherence to this principle. The governor further emphasized the need to learn from Imam Ali's life, particularly his courage, sacrifice, and devotion.
Speakers at the event also highlighted the historical connection of the Yemeni people to Imam Ali. They described the commemoration of Wilayah Day as a reflection of their loyalty and adherence to the values and teachings of Islam, underscoring its significance in maintaining cultural and religious unity.
