Expanded Meeting Led by Minister Qahim Reviews Work Progress in Public Works, Roads Sectors

Sana'a: Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim chaired an expanded meeting in the capital Sana'a on Monday to discuss workflow and the level of task implementation across the ministry's sectors. During the meeting, Deputy Minister Yahya al-Sayani welcomed the return of Mohammed Qahim following a successful medical trip, noting that the minister had remained closely informed and engaged with the ministry's activities, including key strategic matters such as the institutional merger process.

According to Yemen News Agency, he stressed the importance of intensified efforts, teamwork, and accelerating the pace of work to ensure the completion of assigned tasks across all sectors. For his part, Mohammed Qahim expressed appreciation to the ministry's staff, especially the deputy minister, for their dedication and commitment in carrying out their responsibilities.

He affirmed that the ministry continues to operate with a team spirit to accomplish its duties, particularly strategic priorities such as the merger process, which remains a central focus to achieve its intended goals. Mohammed Qahim also highlighted the efforts of the merger committee, chaired by the deputy minister, noting that it is working effectively and in line with proper frameworks to serve the public interest.

He concluded by emphasizing that resilience, steadfastness, and dedication in performing duties represent a crucial front in maintaining institutional performance despite challenges, ensuring continuity of services to citizens.
