Dhamar: The Agriculture Sector in Dhamar Governorate launched a mechanism today for distributing and supervising pesticides used by potato farmers, in cooperation with the General Institution for Agricultural Services and Development. During the launch event in the village of Abaser, Ans District, Dr. Adel Omar, the Head of the Agriculture Sector in the governorate, provided an overview of the new mechanism designed to streamline the distribution and supervision of pesticides.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Omar emphasized that this initiative aims to regulate the circulation of pesticides due to the potential risks associated with their random use on humans, soil, and the environment. He also acknowledged the collaborative efforts of the General Institution for Services in ensuring the organized distribution and application of these pesticides.
