Marib: Today, Marib province witnessed extensive celebratory events in nine squares across the districts of Sarwah, Al-Jawbah, Harib Al-Qaramish, Majzar, Madghal, Raghwan (the northern square), Al-Abdiyyah, Badbadah, Mahliyah, Jabal Murad, and Rahbah, commemorating Yawm al-Wilayah (Glorious Ghadir Day) under the slogan "Whoever I am his master (mawla), then this Ali is his master."
According to Yemen News Agency, the gatherings featured speeches that underscored the significance of the faith-based principle of guardianship (wilayah) as a means of protecting the nation from allegiance to its enemies. Participants expressed renewed loyalty to Imam Ali and the banners of guidance, while denouncing what they referred to as the "greater Satan, America and Israel."
The events included folk chants and songs that celebrated the biography of Imam Ali, his bravery, and the principles of justice and tolerance. These cultural expressions aimed to highlight the enduring values associated with Imam Ali and reinforce the community's dedication to these ideals.
