Sana'a: In the Bani Hashish district of the Sana'a governorate, the local council, in collaboration with the General Mobilization, convened an extensive meeting to commence the activities celebrating the Prophet's birthday. During this meeting, Member of the House of Representatives Yahya Al-Qadi emphasized that celebrating this occasion is a religious duty for all believers. He urged the organization of festivals and community gatherings at the village level to demonstrate joy on this significant day.
According to Yemen News Agency, Abdul Qadir al-Jilani, who is the secretary-general of the local council and the chairman of the sub-committee for the commemoration of the occasion, highlighted the importance of marking this event as a milestone of faith and a reflection of the teachings of the Qur'an. He called for collective efforts to prepare for cultural events and activities that include acts of charity, solidarity, and public services. These activities would involve cleaning and decorating streets to honor the Prophet's birthday.
