Festive Evening on Corniche Coast of Al-Hudaydah City Commemorating Yawm al-Wilayah

Al-hudaydah: The coast of Al-Hudaydah city's corniche witnessed a festive evening commemorating the anniversary of the Day of the Guardianship (Yawm al-Wilayah) of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), organized by the local authority and the General Mobilization of Al-Mina district, under the slogan "Whoever I am his master (mawla), then this Ali is his master."

According to Yemen News Agency, during the evening, the First Deputy Governor of the province, Ahmed Al-Bishri, reviewed aspects of the historic sermon of the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) in which he indicated before thousands of Muslims at Ghadir Khumm the guardianship (wilayah) of Imam Ali, and his famous statement: "Whoever I am his master, then this Ali is his master."

He touched upon the events that occurred after Ghadir Khumm, and the nation's need for a sincere return to the path of loyalty to the Prophet Muhammad (may the best of prayers and purest peace be upon him and his family) and following his household (Ahl al-Bayt).

The evening featured cultural and choral segments, and poems expressing the significance of the occasion.
