Field Visit to Gas Filling Stations in Dhamar Ensures Safety and Security Compliance

Dhamar: The Yemen Gas Company (YGC) conducted a field visit to gas filling stations in Dhamar Province to verify their adherence to safety and security standards, as well as to ensure continuous operation around the clock to meet the gas needs of citizens.

According to Yemen News Agency, the director of the company’s branch in Dhamar, Eng. Nabil Al-Mutawakel, stated that the campaign was executed by a team from the company’s general management and the provincial branch. The initiative aims to strengthen control measures at gas filling stations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and fulfilling the gas demand, especially as the holy month of Ramadan approaches. The campaign also focuses on adherence to set prices and weights, and the assurance of 24-hour operations.

Engineer Ahmed Al-Afsi, Deputy Director of Control at the General Administration of Yemen Gas Company and head of the field visit team, confirmed that the campaign is part of the preparations for Ramadan. It reflects the company’s leadership directives to ensure that stations comply with the company’s instructions.

Furthermore, Engineer Nasreddin Al-Harouji, deputy director of the company’s branch in Dhamar, along with Engineer Mohammed Ali Qabel, highlighted that the expansion of model gas filling stations is a significant step towards securing citizens’ gas needs and alleviating the crises previously faced by citizens. They emphasized the company’s commitment to maintaining adequate gas stocks to meet citizens’ long-term expectations.
