Fifth Military Region Hosts Event to Celebrate Al-Sarkah Anniversary in Al-Hodeidah

Al-hodeidah: The Fifth Military Region, through its Moral Guidance Department, organized a speech event on Saturday in Al-Hodeidah Governorate to commemorate the annual Al-Sarkah anniversary. This event coincided with the graduation ceremony of a batch of leaders from the foundational cultural development course.

According to Yemen News Agency, the course aimed to qualify 48 graduates as group and platoon leaders within the Fifth Military Region, focusing on foundational cultural development. Over a period of 90 days, participants engaged in intensive programs delivered in three phases of training and qualification. These programs were designed to enhance ideological identity and leadership skills among the field personnel.

During the event, Al-Hodeidah Governor Abdullah Atiifi highlighted the significance of the slogan as a symbol of the Qur'anic project. He stated that it restored dignity and honor to the nation in its confrontation against global powers. Atiifi remarked that the anniversary of 'Al-Sarkah' serves as a moment to draw lessons in resilience and steadfastness.

He emphasized that the graduation of this group of leaders represents an important qualitative addition to the fronts, especially amid the current challenges that necessitate heightened combat readiness. Atiifi described the slogan 'Al-Sarkha' as a tool that broke the silence and psychological defeat imposed by adversaries on Arab and Islamic peoples, asserting that adherence to this approach by the armed forces is crucial for achieving decisive victory.

Governor Atiifi praised the discipline and morale shown by the graduates of the foundational development course, urging them to apply the cultural knowledge and field skills acquired in their practical work to enhance military performance and combat spirit. He commended the efforts of the Fifth Military Region members in resisting aggression and delivering impactful lessons on various fronts, acknowledging their sacrifices in defending national sovereignty, security, and stability.

Deputy Governor Mohammed Halisi and Colonel Hilal Al-Shami, Director of the Moral Guidance Department in the Fifth Military Region, attended the event. Al-Shami reviewed the objectives and implications of commemorating 'Al-Sarkah,' describing it as a powerful tool in psychological warfare and a protective barrier against distorted cultures. He emphasized that these specialized courses are part of the region's plan to develop field commanders' skills based on solid Qur'anic and military foundations, ensuring leaders are prepared to manage battles efficiently.

Al-Shami affirmed that the military institution will continue pursuing qualification and training in line with the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership. He noted that the slogan remains a firm and unwavering principle in confronting the nation's enemies.
