Sana'a: The President of Ibb University, Dr. Nasr Al-Hajili, launched the final exams for the second semester at the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences. During the launch, Dr. Al-Hajili emphasized the importance of adhering to the scheduled exam dates and timely announcing the results. This is in line with the ongoing preparations for the upcoming academic year, which will follow the unified academic calendar.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Hajili highlighted the necessity of enhancing educational quality both theoretically and practically. He stressed the importance of regular maintenance of the faculty's laboratories and equipment and the expansion of productive fields. Additionally, Dr. Al-Hajili called for the optimal use of staff, resources, water facilities, and the modern irrigation network available at the faculty. These efforts aim to fulfill the directives of the supreme leadership in developing the agricultural sector to achieve self-sufficiency.
Dr. Al-Hajili further noted that Ibb University places significant emphasis on its applied faculties, particularly the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences, due to their pivotal role in supporting the national economy and enhancing food security. He reaffirmed the university's commitment to aligning educational outcomes with labor market demands and directing scientific research towards sustainable agricultural development.
