Sana'a: Finance Minister Abduljabbar Ahmed met today with Engineer Nabil Al-Hifi, Chairman of the Road and Bridge Maintenance Fund, to review the fund's progress on road maintenance projects across various regions.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting focused on the fund's efforts to execute its plans for the current year, emphasizing the maintenance of main roads and city entrances. The initiative is designed to benefit a large segment of the population across governorates and districts. During the discussion, the Finance Minister praised the fund's ability to manage limited resources effectively, highlighting the direct impact of their projects on citizens.
The Finance Minister also reiterated the Ministry of Finance's commitment to supporting the fund's initiatives within the constraints of available resources. Engineer Nabil Al-Hifi, in turn, expressed gratitude for the minister's ongoing involvement, seeing it as motivation to enhance road maintenance performance further.
