Sana'a: Finance Minister Abduljabbar Ahmed met on Tuesday with Sana'a Mayor Dr. Hamoud Ubad to discuss key service-related issues in the Capital Sana'a in line with the approved plans for the current year. The meeting focused on aligning municipal services to better meet the needs of residents.
According to Yemen News Agency, the discussion highlighted the performance of executive offices during the holy month of Ramadan, particularly those connected to citizens' daily needs. The efforts of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund to modernize its work mechanisms in response to population growth were also addressed.
The Finance Minister affirmed the ministry's commitment to supporting the Capital Sana'a across various sectors within available resources to ensure effective service delivery. He also praised the activities and charitable programs organized during Ramadan for their positive impact on the community.
For his part, the Mayor expressed appreciation for the Ministry of Finance's continued support for development and service projects. He noted that intensified efforts are underway during Ramadan to keep pace with increased commercial and economic activity, reflecting the city's dynamic growth and evolving needs.
