Sana'a: The first Al-Bardouni Festival, themed "The Seeer in a Blind Time," began in Sana'a, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism with support and funding from the Heritage and Cultural Development Fund. The three-day festival is a tribute to the great poet Abdullah Al-Bardouni.
According to Yemen News Agency, at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Abdullah Al-Washli emphasized the Ministry's commitment to launching the inaugural Al-Bardouni Festival as a gesture of loyalty to the great poet Abdullah Al-Bardouni. He noted the festival as an attempt to do justice to the poet and an end to decades of deliberate official marginalization and exclusion.
