Sana’a: The first open padel championship, organized by the General Federation of Tennis, Squash, and Padel, under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and with the support of U Telecommunications Company, concluded today in Sana’a.
According to Yemen News Agency, the final match saw the duo of Fares Al-Wazir and Abdullah Al-Marouni crowned champions after defeating the duo of Mohammed Jabran and Nawaf Al-Amri by two sets to one.
In closing, the President of the Tennis, Squash, and Padel Federation, Mohammed Rizq Al-Sarmi, the CEO of U Telecommunications Company, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shami, the Federation’s Secretary-General, Abduljalil Al-Harazi, and the company’s Marketing Director, Riyadh Salim, honored the winners with trophies and medals.
It is worth noting that the tournament, held as part of the Federation’s plan for the current sports season, saw the participation of 80 players from various categories: youth, juniors, veterans, and adults.
