First Semester Exams for Basic and Secondary Education Stages Commence in Sa’ada

Sa'ada: Sa'ada governor Mohammed Awad, alongside the Head of the Education Sector in the governorate, Mohammed al-Dawlah, has officially launched the first semester transfer exams for basic and secondary education levels for the academic year 1447 AH / 2025-2026.

According to Yemen News Agency, the launch ceremony was attended by key district officials including Director of Sa'ada District Ahmed Mushahim, and Deputy Heads of the Education Sector in the Governorate, Ahmed Hajib and Hussein Abu Sitt. Governor Awad received briefings from local education officials Abdulfattah Hajar and Hamid Abu Daykah on the preparations for the exams in Sa'ada and Sahar districts.

During his visit to several schools in the districts, Governor Awad acknowledged the dedication and resilience of the educational staff, who have continued to provide education amidst challenges such as targeted attacks on educational infrastructure and the suspension of salaries. He expressed appreciation for those organizing the exams and their efforts in creating a conducive environment for students. The governor also encouraged students to aim for academic excellence and work diligently to achieve high ranks.

The Head of the Education Sector in the governorate noted that approximately 250,000 students are participating in the exams across various schools, covering all transfer grades in both the basic and secondary levels.
