Taiz: Four children were injured this evening in Sala District, Taiz Governorate, by shrapnel from a shell fired by aggression mercenaries in the "Joulat Al-Qasr" area near Wadi Sala.
According to Yemen News Agency, the mercenaries targeted civilian houses in Wadi Sala with artillery fire, injuring four children - two with moderate wounds and two with minor injuries.
The source reported that the two children were initially taken to Al-Rifai Hospital and then transferred to Ibn Sina Hospital. After receiving initial treatment, it was confirmed that Abdulrahman Ali, aged 13, was hit by shrapnel in his right forearm, while his brother Ahmed Ali Abdulrahman, aged 11, sustained shrapnel wounds in the lower back and right hip. Both children's injuries are considered moderate.
The source condemned the ongoing targeting of residential neighborhoods by mercenaries, noting that such attacks have become systematic and repeated, in blatant disregard for humanitarian values and international law.
