Sanaa: The funeral of Major Abdulrahman Saqtain, Deputy Director of the Traffic Safety Department at the General Traffic Administration, was held in a solemn funeral procession in Al-Hada District, Dhamar Governorate. He passed away after a life dedicated to service and public duty.
According to Yemen News Agency, the funeral was attended by Director General of Traffic Police Major General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, his assistants, the Director of Traffic Police in the Capital Secretariat, senior traffic and security officials, social figures, as well as the deceased's colleagues and relatives. Major General Al-Barashi praised the late officer's exemplary character and professional record, noting that throughout his career he embodied the highest values of dedication, integrity, and loyalty to his faith and homeland.
He stressed that Saqtain's passing represents a significant loss to the Traffic Police, describing him as a model of military discipline, honesty, professionalism, and commitment to duty. He also highlighted his valuable contributions to the development of traffic safety plans and systems.
For his part, Brig. Gen. Najib Al-Asadi, Director of Traffic Police in the Capital Secretariat, said the late officer was highly active in the field and a distinguished example of responsibility and professionalism. Mourners and traffic officials extended their sincere condolences to the deceased's sons, brothers, and all members of his family, praying that Almighty Allah grant him mercy, forgiveness, and eternal peace among the righteous.
