Sana'a: The General Authority for Antiquities and Museums, collaborating with the General Mobilization in Al-Safiya District of the Capital Secretariat, organized a cultural and speech event to commemorate the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by Authority Chairman Abbad Al-Hayal and featured cultural activist Abdulrahman Al-Manari, who emphasized the significance of remembering the birth of Prophet Muhammad. He stressed the importance of learning from the Prophet's noble life, following his example, and adhering to his righteous path.
Palestinian activist Dr. Mohammed Al-Buhaysee also spoke at the event, discussing the meanings and lessons tied to the Prophet's birthday. He highlighted the values of faith, steadfastness, and the importance of emulating the Prophet. Al-Buhaysee pointed out that the Muslim nation should draw upon these values to face current challenges.
The speakers at the event highlighted that celebrating the Prophet's birthday signifies the Yemenis' deep connection with the Prophet and represents their shared faith-based identity. They encouraged widespread participation in the major central celebration planned for the 12th of Rabi' Al-Awwal at Al-Sabeen Square.
