Sana'a: The General Authority for the Preservation of Historic Cities has condemned the Zionist aggression against the National Museum building and citizens' houses in the historic city of Sana'a.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Authority revealed that the Zionist aggression resulted in damage to several buildings within Sana'a's historic city. The Authority's statement highlighted the impact of these actions on the National Museum and other significant structures.
The statement further urged the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to take a definitive stance against what it termed as Zionist arrogance, which threatens to obliterate global historical landmarks in Yemen. The historic city of Sana'a is recognized as a World Heritage Site, and alongside the National Museum building and the 26 September newspaper, it is central to the cultural heritage of the region.
The Authority called upon international organizations and the global community to denounce the Zionist entity's actions against civilian properties and citizens. It appealed to the United Nations, through UNESCO, to document these attacks on World Heritage Sites in Sana'a and to hold those responsible accountable.
