Beirut: The Lebanese Hezbollah condemned the Israeli aggression against Yemen today, Wednesday, which targeted the newspapers '26 September' and 'Yemen,' causing a number of journalist casualties, including deaths and injuries. In a statement, Hezbollah said, 'This brutal and treacherous aggression against media outlets and journalists is not new for the enemy entity, which has consistently sought to conceal its crimes.'
According to Yemen News Agency, Hezbollah described the aggression as a reflection of the "bankruptcy" of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court for terrorism and war crimes. The statement further accused Netanyahu of seeking illusory victories to salvage his position following failures to eliminate resistance efforts in Gaza and the West Bank, and in deterring Yemen's support for Gaza.
Hezbollah expressed its 'full solidarity with Yemen's resistant media,' urging 'all media institutions, professional unions, and Arab and international human rights bodies to condemn this aggression.' They called for justice against the perpetrators in competent international courts to deter the Israeli entity and pressurize it to stop repeated attacks on journalists and media institutions.
