Sana'a: The General Authority for Social Insurance and Pensions has initiated the disbursement process for the second half of June 2021 pensions to retired civil servants. This action marks a significant step in ensuring that retirees receive their due benefits in a timely manner.
According to Yemen News Agency, Ibrahim Al-Haifi, the head of the Authority, stated that the disbursement is part of the temporary exceptional mechanism designed to support the salaries of state employees. This process is in line with the provisions outlined in Law No. 2 of 1446 AH, which mandates the regular disbursement of pensions. The law ensures that retirees will receive a total of 12 pension payments each year, thereby providing a structured and reliable pension system for those who have served in civil capacities.
