New york: Gold prices fell on Thursday as investors booked profits a day after the metal broke the $4,000 per ounce barrier and hit a record high. Oil prices also declined. According to Yemen News Agency, spot gold fell 0.4% to $4,021.99 per ounce, while US gold futures for December delivery fell 0.7% to $4,042.60.
