Gold Hits Record Highs, Boosted by US Tariffs

Rome: Gold prices rose to new record highs during trading on Friday, supported by the US decision to impose tariffs on gold bullion imports, as well as expectations of a US interest rate cut.

According to Yemen News Agency, spot gold rose 1 percent since the beginning of the week, settling at $3,397.85 per ounce. Additionally, US futures for December delivery jumped to $3,490.70 after hitting an all-time high of $3,534.10.
