Government Spokesperson Commends Armed Forces’ ‘Siege-for-Siege’ Success

General

Sanaa: Government Spokesperson and Deputy Minister of Information Dr. Omar Al-Bukhaity praised the Armed Forces for their significant victories and the establishment of a 'siege-for-siege' equation against Saudi Arabia, a strategy that commenced on July 20 and continues to this day.

According to Yemen News Agency, the government spokesperson stated that, with divine support, the Armed Forces have successfully enforced the 'siege-for-siege' equation, aimed at safeguarding Yemen's sovereignty from any violations by the enemy, as well as targeting Saudi military concentrations. Dr. Al-Bukhaity noted that the Yemeni Armed Forces have also executed a comprehensive maritime blockade, preventing 48 vessels from traversing the Red Sea and Arabian Sea, while targeting eight oil vessels.

He emphasized that these operations were in retaliation to the prolonged siege imposed by Saudi Arabia on Yemen for over 12 years, which has resulted in substantial losses and aggravated the suffering of the Yemeni populace. Dr. Al-Bukhaity highlighted that the Armed Forces' maneuvers were initiated following four years of Saudi procrastination and failure to uphold commitments under the de-escalation agreement, reflecting the Yemeni people's aspirations for liberation and resource control.

Dr. Al-Bukhaity asserted that the Yemeni Armed Forces act as guardians of Yemen's sovereignty, conducting operations deep within Saudi territory and executing precise attacks on Saudi military buildups inside Yemen. He urged mercenaries and those misled into serving in Saudi military camps to withdraw and avoid enemy military sites, which are legitimate targets for the Armed Forces.

He also appealed to Saudi Arabia to cease following American and Israeli directives at the expense of its interests and those of the Arab and Islamic worlds. He called for an end to the aggression, lifting of the siege on Yemen, and enabling Yemenis to utilize their resources to pay salaries and withdraw foreign occupiers from Yemeni land.

Dr. Al-Bukhaity concluded by asserting that there is no alternative for Saudi Arabia but to meet the Yemeni people's demands, stating, "The ultimate outcome is for the righteous."
